The Vietnamese Scout movement in France was established by Vietnamese immigrants to provide a space for young people to engage with their cultural roots while participating in global scouting values. We are an official member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
Our mission is to educate young people through scouting activities that promote leadership, community service, and international understanding. By combining French and Vietnamese values, we aim to create a bridge between the two cultures.
The movement started in the early 1970s after the arrival of many Vietnamese refugees in France. Over the decades, the Vietnamese Scouts in France have grown to include several regional groups, all working under the principles of the worldwide scouting organization.
